Driving innovation
Today's government employees must accomplish more than ever before, with increasingly limited resources. To meet this challenge, public servants must rethink the way they do business. Participants will learn to drive innovation and win support for new ideas by:

  • Identifying and understanding root causes;
  • Brainstorming potential solutions;
  • Testing ideas on a small scale to earn support; and
  • Scaling and spreading proven ideas.

This seminar is most applicable to GS-12 to GS-14s. The seminars begin at 8:30, with a complimentary breakfast at 8:00, and end at 4:00 daily.

OUR APPROACH
Leaders learn best by doing. We invite participants to bring challenges they are currently facing on the job to the classroom. We then help each participant create an action plan to improve their job performance and follow-up with participants after the class to ensure learning implementation.

Seminar participants will:

  • Learn best practices from the public and private sectors to apply to their jobs;
  • Participate in interactive class discussions and exercises built on best practice research
  • Reinforce class lessons through real-time problem-solving and action-planning;
  • Gain exposure to premier leaders from government and the private sector; and
  • Receive after-class support from Partnership consultants to ensure implementation of class lessons.
